How do I pay for my stay?
Once you receive the rental agreement, you will be required to pay 25% of the total cost within 4 days in order to secure your reservation. Payment can be made either by bank transfer, or by PayPal with your credit card. A month before your rental starts, you will receive a reminder that the remaining balance is due. We do not accept checks.
When do I get a booking confirmation?
As soon as the reservation deposit has arrived in the owner’s account and we have received a duly signed copy of the contract by email (scanned), you will receive a confirmation.
Amount of security deposit
When you send us a proof of a liability insurance together with the duly signed copy of the rental agreement, the security deposit to be paid in cash will only be 500€ to be paid upon arrival, unless another amount is specified in the advertisement. When no damage has incurred, this amount will be reimbursed upon departure after the check out procedure. We kindly request all our clients to respect other people’s property.
When do I have to pay the security deposit?
Payment of the security deposit can either be made a week before arrival by bank transfer or upon arrival in cash in euros or the equivalent of this amount in the currency of your country. Due to fraudulent checks received in the past, we regret that we no longer accept any payment by check.
Cancellation of a reservation
Rules that apply to cancellations are specified in your rental agreement. We always advice our clients to take out a travel- and cancellation insurance as well as a liability insurance.
In case of an emergency, what should I do?
Upon arrival, you will receive information about where to find a doctor, dentist, hospital etc. You can always contact either the owner or the property manager. This depends on the wishes of the owner of a property.
Is it allowed to invite guests during my stay?
Depending on the maximum amount of guests specified in your contract, you may invite guests. However, the number of guests should however never exceed the maximum amount.
Are pets allowed?
This all depends on the owners of a rental home. However, if pets are allowed, they are never allowed on beds, chairs, sofa’s etc. You will have to take care that your dog is being walked outside the property and that you tidy up after your pet. In addition, your pet should be house-trained. A house cleaning surcharge for pet stays varies per holiday home from €50 – €100 per stay.
Is housekeeping included?
The inclusion of housekeeping services in the total rental cost varies from property to property. You will find this information in your rental agreement. However, you should always take out all your garbage (bags, bottles, newspapers etc.) before departure. If you need additional housekeeping services above those that are specified in your contract, we can organize this at an additional charge.
Is smoking allowed in my rental?
This information is supplied in your rental contract as it varies per property.
