La Bergerie de Fontvert

The Bergerie at Fontvert offers a peaceful sanctuary surrounded by the beauty of the Château Fontvert winery. The renovated “sheep farm” is located in a small valley at the base of the Luberon with a river running through the property. Located just a ten minute walk from the Bergerie at Fontvert is the village of Lourmarin, classified as “one of the most beautiful villages” in France.

The home measures 160m2 and is entirely air conditioned and offers WIFI. There are four bedrooms, three on the main level all with queen beds, and one of the bedrooms has a connected bathroom with bathtub, shower and double vanity. The other bedrooms share a renovated bathroom with an Italian rain shower and a double vanity. Additionally, there are two WC in the hallway. The fourth bedroom is located on the upper level loft with bunk beds and a pull out double day bed. The interior of the home is decorated with all new furnishings in a very modern style. The open concept provides a large living room with 2 overstuffed couches and additional comfortable furnishings and offers a smart TV with DVD, a dining area for 10 and an opening to the completely renovated kitchen. The kitchen offers a refrigerator/freezer, gas stove, electric oven all in brushed stainless steel, microwave and a double sink. There is access from the kitchen to the laundry room and to the living room, and a separate exit to the covered terrace.

The covered terrace measures 60 m2 and includes an outdoor kitchen, equipped with a chimney/grill, a plancha, a blender, a refrigerator and a sink. The terrace has a dining area with a table for 8/10 and a lounge with 2 couches and comfortable seating. The terrace leads to a beautiful manicured garden (400 m2) and gorgeous pool (10,5mx5,5m). The garden is furnished with 8 lounge chairs, a large umbrella for shade, additional seating areas and an outdoor shower. In the evening, the garden has lights as does the pool, which also has an alarm system.

The home also has an alarm system and a covered shelter for two cars. The winery offers to the guests of the Bergerie at Fontvert a beautiful, newly resurfaced tennis court with lights for evening play. It is available upon reservation at no additional charge. Furthermore, the winery invites the guests of the Bergerie at Fontvert to a special wine tasting. There guests will learn about the biodynamic practices of the winery and discover their selection of delicious wines.
